The many moods of Addason...and his alter ego.

Addi has decided that Aleahs clothes are more comfortable than his own. I keep finding him in them throughout the day that I decided to take a picture everytime he did it. These are over the course of 2 days.
He wanted to go to school and so he put on an outfit that he saw Aleah wear to school. He came to me and said "Mom I go to School now!"

Not really sure what this is? He just liked wearing the skirt that day. Well the Scottish did is so what they hey, why not? We will just call this a kilt, he is part Scottish after all.

These were his pajamas that night...???

My friend Jo has made all the girls skirts and Addi has worn all of them at one time or another. He just liked this one cause of the stars.

Finally something "normal". He found this scarf and turned it into his "supermap" cape.

He was spiderman for down town trick or treat. I just thought this was a cute picture of him in another cape.

Trick or Treat on main street!

Spanish Fork city has their trick or treating the weekend before Halloween. Each business on main street can set up a game or just hand out candy. Its a neat way to promote your business and for the kids to have extra fun before Halloween. James and Mel brought the boys and here are some highlight shots below.

Looking across the street at all the kids. We came straight from our Primary program practice and so our costumes were quickly thrown together.
Donnie and Kara's store. They had a huge line that went all the way back.

Elmo (their son Lincoln) was kind enough to let us get a picture!

Jamie is working this wig!!

Carsen was my buddy for the afternoon. He came right back to me when he was finished getting his sweet treat. What a good kid!

My mans full stache..... Its coming in nice huh? Still not a fan of it though.

The boys were the chimpmunks. They were a hit. We kept hearing kids say "Mom their goes Alvin!!!"

Do you like our hats?

So Addi found these "hats" for us to wear the other day. He would leave the room to go do something else and when he would come back he would get upset because mine kept "falling off" my head accidently on purpose. We wore these for a good hour or so until he decided he wanted to be super map instead of washrag head. He also wanted a picture of our "hats". I was more than happy to oblige.

A visit to Cornbellies!

There is a neat place here in Utah called Corn bellies. It has tons of stuff for kids and adults to do. Most of the Elementry school kids get to go there on a field trip and enjoy some of the fun things. I have never been here myself and so I think this year we will go for a fun family night. Aleah got to go today with her class. She was so excited, she kept saying the name wrong (CORN FELLIES) and talking about her home lunch that she got to bring. It was cute.

One of the big attractions is the maze. Its huge u can see the road on the bottom left and the people on the upper right. They planted this in the spring and so they must have really planned out how it would grow. They dont cut the design its grown this way. Neat huh? I am not sure if the kids got to go into the maze. Maybe with a guide to get them out?

When she came home she brought me her pumpkin from the pumpkin patch (all the kids get to pick one when they go). She said mom look at my pumkin, its white.
I told her that was cool.
She said its a ghost pumpkin.
I pretended to scream and be scared.
She rolled her eyes and told me that white pumkins are not scary, they are YUMMY, and could we make it into a pumpkin pie and eat it?
I wondered if would that mean that the pumpkin pie would be white too?

Stocking up for winter!!

We bought some firewood in preperation for the cold winter months ahead. We bought them in the round, it was a little cheaper and my big brawny husband said he would chop it up himself... I heard some noise early this morning and sure enough it was Jason. He got up and started chopping and stacking. He even enlisted the kids help!
Addi was helping daddy for a while stacking wood!

The kids loved it. It was a nice family building experience!

I think I saw a ghost!!!!

I was talking on the phone with Beks and I looked out the window and I saw this man.. Holy Cow! He looks just like Grandpa Pete. Grandpa Pete is my mothers father and he lived with us off and on during our younger years. He fed us strange food and was just a strange grandpa but I dearly loved him.
There were a few things that made me think it was him for a split second. The tell-tale cowboy hat.. the long beard... the way he walked. It was the strangest sensation. I guess appropriate for this Halloween month!!!

He had stopped in the road to light a cigerette. (another of grandpas traits). Just long enough for me to get a few shots from my bedroom window. I dont think that Grandpa ever wore leggins over his pants? He made me think of Grandpa Pete all day.

Highlights from our week!

So I was looking on the camera and I took a bunch of snapshots this week of the kids and whatever... These are the highlights of the week. Enjoy!!!

It has been sooooooo cold here and I am sure its been cold where u are as well. Jason loves to make fires Addi is always asking him to make one. The girls love it too and sat and watched the fire until told it was past bedtime.
I told Addi that he could read books in bed for a while. I thought he was in bed asleep, because I saw a little mound under the covers. It wasnt until later when I was closing the house up for the night that I found him in the living room reading his books. Another sleeping picture, it reminds me of Jason falling asleep where ever he was..

I bought these slippers at the store in preperation for winter (all they had was pink Shaina!). I tried them on in the store and they felt so soft and warm. When I got home and tried to walk around in them it made me think of those women who wear high heel slippers and nightgowns together. They are like flip flops and fall off my feet. I let Addi play with them, he thought they were for him anyways.

Another shot of the fungus on the lip.. Sorry babe if u would just pose then these wouldnt be so embarassing!

Addi decided he needed his blanket from the dryer. When I asked him if he did this he said "No mom marshmellow do that!" (that is our cat and I am pretty sure he cant do this kind of damage)

This was what he wore pretty much the whole day.

Ok so our black cat doenst like our grey cat.. Who do u think was laying here first? He likes her and follows her everywhere just to bug her. She is much better than she used to be.

I fixed it!!!!

Ok so this last weekend my dryer broke. ( Sorry Corks!) I noticed that the barrel didnt rotate and so deduced that the belt was broken. I took it apart at sure enough I found the broken belt.. I ordered a new one and it came today. I was able to fix it by myself. Needless to say I am pretty proud of myself! :))))))))

I am now happily doing laundry!
